We had a busy weekend. It was the Nodaway County Fair. We had an information booth, A raffle and donation table, and a float in the parade. We really got our name out there and we are so happy about this. want to Thank our sponsors, Family, and Friends for all their help. When we are week they are strong for us. Love you all.

Here it is a beautiful Sunday and i am in a flare. I have done too much this weekend. Went to craft show to bring awareness to Fibromyalgia. It was ok.....could have been better. We got donations to cover the cost to be there. I am have a fibro fog today and its driving me crazy. I got stuff to do but the head is not working so guess it will have to wait. Soft hugs and butterfly kisses to all of you.

Got a lot to do but have came down sick. Hate when something gets in the way of my goals. I end up reaching  to far. Slow is sometimes the best way. Slow down to take care of yourself. To enjoy the smell of rain or the sun shining on your face. To enjoy a child's laughter or get into the sand with them and build a castle. What ever it might be just slow down and enjoy the moment. Because one day you will want it all back. Right now I want to enjoy and share all the soft hugs and butterfly kisses.

Hello my friends. We are dealing with sickness in the home. My oldest granddaughter is sick and now shes given it to me. Hoping by weekend we are all feeling better.
The Craft show is going wonderfully. I am not so confident on the Bowl-a-thon. Might have to change it some or cancel all together. Have a few orders for T-Shirts.Photo is below. Women's will be on purple shirts and Men's on blue. $15 per a shirt. So just let me know if your interested.
I am now trying to lose weight to help my health. I am always tired and hurting so I have gone on the body by vi shakes. Energy is up and hoping if I lose weight I will feel better. Hello my friends I am still working hard on the Fibromyalgia event. The craft show is going well but the bowl-a-thon is not so great. Might have to cut it out. Our support group is getting busy. We are going to a craft show in March to show off our awareness board. Then we are selling T-Shirts. $15. In May we are having a Bowl-a-thon. Then on Fibromyalgia Awareness Day we will be having a Craft show. So much to do but need to not overdue it. I have been hurting a lot lately. The weather has Changed in our area. Got the Awareness board done for our first craft show we are attending. It the end of March. Also Have a donation board made too. I also talked to our Fair board and getting a booth for our group there too. Second meeting is coming up on Monday. I think we are going to have a bigger group. I am so excited to help others. This helps me too.  Our fundraiser will end the night of the meeting. Sure hope it comes out ok so we can become a non profit organization.  Hello my friends. winter is in the area now. So is the fibromyalgia pain. I also has LS and having a lot of trouble with it. See a doctor tomorrow to figure out some problems. It is all a waiting game right now. Moving on The Maryville Fibromyalgia Support Group is doing good. We are having a fundraiser right now with AtHome America candles $11 for an 8 oz jar. Scents are cider and spice, dutch apple pie, fresh linen breeze, totally tropical coconut, vanilla bean ice cream, and heaven scent. We also have our first Craft show sign up for end of March. We are putting up an awareness table to teach our community or anyone who is suffering. Really excited about all our plans. The last thing I would like to talk about is about a give away.  We have decided to have an awareness board for fibromyalgia up at health and craft fairs and our county fair. Might even see if HyVee will let us set up too. Candle sale is going good. Hoping to become a non profit organization soon. It has been a hard day for me today. My flare is horrible. The back of my neck is hurting so much it's hard to keep up. Pain is shooting all the way down my back and down my left arm. I am weak and tired. Soon I think I will be heading to my heat pad. Anyway I would like to say our support group- www.facebook.com/mfsg247 is going well. The group of ladies(so far) are awesome individuals. They have similar aches and pains and no one to share with too. We all want to find a cure by donating to research. Our support group-Maryville Fibromyalgia Support Group has started an AtHome America candle fundraiser. I am so excited to get this group growing and to send money for research. I am feeling blue today, maybe the weather,lack of sleep last night or just plan cabin fever. But I keep going and do my best.  As my new motto says: I'll Try Again Tomorrow.

 Last night was the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I started the Maryville Fibromyalgia Support Group. I feel that God has left me here for a reason and that reason is to help others with Fibromyalgia and to educate my community on this illness. It is an invisible illness and most live in silence with it. But why should we, It is part of us and we deserve the respect like anyone else. Well I am sorry to upset you with my life but it is the true me. Some days I was to be out and visit with others, while another day I am laying in my bed in so much pain I could die. Some would chose this method to get away or out of the pain but for me I am a fighter. I put everything in God's hands and ask him to guide me through this and to help others understand. I will say that the one blessing of fibromyalgia is it slows us down. It makes us reevaluate our life. We see things more clearly and know what is really important in our life. God, myself, family, friends, and helping others. That is I was sitting here with one slice of bread,starving and unsure where the next meal is coming from. I would still give you have of my bread if you were in the same way. Why you ask because I have faith in God and know he will guide me i the right way. Anyway our group is up and going well. We are working on becoming a non profit organization  so we can start fundraising for research and more. Our problem is the cost of the tax forms we have to fill out. So if anyone would like to donate to our cause please let me know. We do not want to suffer alone.   ~~I'll try again Tomorrow~~

It has been a very warm winter for us. Today started out so pretty and now the wind is blowing hard and temps are dropping. Good Night for us Fibromyalgia sufferers too cuddle with a blanket and warm socks while in our snuggie pj's. I might even add a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallow.  Our fears is the weather change witch cause our fibro-pain  into a lion reaction. Our night will be sleepless and our body will feel like we just ran around the world non-stop. Its been a hard winter for me. The cold makes me hurt but being warm all the time doesn't kill the germs. Illness has hit over and over again. I have had the flu 4 times since September. Wow! So this fibromyalgia just does not play fair. So afraid to turn the next corner, who knows what lies beyond our view. Afraid it will be worse because 99% of the time it has been and really how much more can one person take of all this illness?
